Kristin and Craig tied the knot this past Saturday in a gorgeous garden ceremony! They couldn't have asked for a better day...there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the temperature was a warm 85 degrees. When I showed up to take photos of everyone getting ready, all the bridesmaids were in a relaxed frenzy of hair and makeup. Krisitn was calm as can be getting primped and was accompanied by her devoted furbaby Wesley who laid by her feet. I then walked over to the house where the groom and groomsmen were. Craig was pitching a tent and the groomsmen were still steaming shirts. Despite the running around, the guys pulled themselves together and made it over to Craig's parents' house to meet Kristin for their "first look." Kristin and Craig met each other on the front porch and it was electric. The way Craig looked at Kristin melted all of our hearts!
The ceremony took place out on the Anderman lawn. All the guests were seated and fanning themselves received a surprise when the groom and his men were being pulled in a tractor driven by the groom's father, Mr. Anderman. It was a funny sight to see. Kristin and Craig wrote their own touching vows and two readings were given by the bride's brother, Matthew and groom's sister, Christine.
The whole bridal party boarded the tractor and headed to the cocktail hour on the Anderman patio. The signature drink was a light and refreshing rum punch (yes, I tried one and it was delicious!) and walking hors d'oeuvres consisting of bacon wrapped scallops, mini beef wellingtons, tomato flatbread and stuffed mushrooms were passed. But the highlight of the evening was the Raw Oyster Bar!
From there everyone made their way down to the main tent for the reception. The couple shared their first dance and the speeches followed...bridesmaid Courtney and MOH Michele and groomsmen Scott and Lance. A family style dinner was served and the live band had the guests dancing the night away. The eveing was complete with multiple bonfires, a popcorn machine and last but not least, an impressive fireworks display!
Kristin and Craig I wish many years of laughter and happiness and I hope you have the most incredible honeymoon in GREECE! XOXO
