Work and Pleasure in Seattle

Last week I spent four days in Seattle, WA! The purpose of my trip was to gain some wedding experience second shooting with Lauren Ryan Photography. I photographed a wedding that Saturday and another one on Sunday with Lauren. Lauren was so professional and collaborative throughout the weddings - I think the experience was awesome!

Monday and Tuesday I was able to sightsee. Lauren took me around the city and when her hubby Max got off work he met up with us in the evening. We walked through Pikes Market where all the fresh seafood is sold, Lauren pointed out the original Starbucks, we took the monorail to the Space Needle (I rode to the top of course!) and then we visited the Chihuly Museum, which was so colorful and magical. I got to see the sunset over the dam and saw my first salmon ladder. I even got to see my cousins Trevor, Edyta and their daughter Ania which was a special treat. Finally on Tuesday we took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island and I ended the day with a dinner date with my friend Michele.

I am so grateful for this opportunity and the chance to check out a new city. Stay tuned for my photos from the weddings!

Those crabs on ice are making me REALLY wish summer wasn't coming to an end here on the east coast!
